Mission Statement according to Soma

Being born is something of a shock. And I believe one can spend their entire life dazed by it. This blog is about shining a light through that fog. Discovering who we are as human beings, what connects us all-that spirituality, art, history, anthropology, and science are one aggregate, and if we find the subtle links that hold them together, we find who we are as a people. The truth of our origins, the possibilities of our fate. These topics, among many others, are what I seek to make clearer in this blog-if not for you the reader, than atleast for myself.
My counterpart Shaman Sun said once that we should not attempt to label the abstract with concrete images-that is, calling this unraveling of knowledge a journey. To call it a journey is to limit all the things it is and can be. But that is, inalterably, how I view this...a journey through the human experience. Let's begin.
